Step 1: Determine if Chula Vista Middle is your School of Residence
If Chula Vista Middle School is not your school of residence, you must first register your student at their home school and then submit an Intra district transfer application via your Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
Step 2: Complete ONLINE REGISTRATION via Infinite Campus Parent Portal
Online Registration opens on January 26, 2026.

Step 3: Submit current Proof of Address showing YOUR name and address stated
Step 4: Complete and Submit Chula Vista Middle Registration Packet
Step 5: Submit Student Immunization Record

INTER DISTRICT TRANSFER
If you reside outside of the Sweetwater Union High School District boundaries, you are required to submit an Inter District Transfer application. You will initiate the request for a transfer through your district of residence FIRST. Once approved, you will then submit your approval to Sweetwater Union High School District’s Student Support Services for processing.

No further steps are required UNLESS your address has changed since the previous school year. If you have moved, you must submit proof of residency along with a completed and signed Verification of Residency Affidavit.
