Club TC Attendance

Attention Club TC Parents,

If you signed up your son/daughter with our before and after school program called Club TC.  It is essential that all students who enrolled in the program attend the program.  Please make sure your student is attending.  If they do not attend program they will be dropped and not allowed to participate.  If you have any questions please call the Club TC office at 619-498-6868.

July 22- First Day of School

The first day of school will be Monday, July 22.  Period 1, begins at 8:15 am. Please make sure that students arrive on time. Advisory has been moved to later in the day.

Please look through the new updates with the Dress Code in the updated Student Handbook  and Mr. Alcala’s, Principal’s Letter to Parents.

July 10 and 11: FINAL Registration Dates

FINAL Registration Dates:

Wednesday, July 10th   8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Thursday, July 11th   1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Must have all required documents during your chosen registration date and time:

  1. *Complete Blue Affidavit form
  2. * Current Proof of Residency with your name and address stated
  3. *Complete On Line Registration
  4. *Immunization Record (New Students Only)
  5. *Birth Certificate (New Students Only)
  6. *Current report card if student attended out of district or Mexico

Uniform and Clothing Donations

Students and Parents with CVM adopting a new dress code next year. We would greatly appreciate any uniform or gently used clothes you would like to donate to the school.

Please drop off any sweatshirt, pants, shorts and shirts to the front office.

Important Message about Uniforms

This is an important message from Chula Vista Middle School. After considering input from Parents/Guardians, Faculty and Staff, we have decided that for the 2019-2020 school year uniforms will not be required. We are now working on creating dress guidelines that are clear, equitable, and appropriate for the middle school learning environment. Your input is greatly appreciated.  In addition, PE clothes do not have to be purchased at school, our PE department is suggesting students bring red shorts and grey t-shirts. However, athletic wear is available for purchase in our ASB and may be used for PE.

Este es un mensaje importante de Chula Vista Middle School. Después de considerar los comentarios de los padres / tutores, la facultad y el personal, hemos decidido para el año escolar 2019-2020 no será obligatorio usar uniforme. Ahora estamos trabajando para crear pautas de vestimenta que sean claras, equitativas y apropiadas para el entorno de aprendizaje de la escuela. Agradecemos sus comentarios.  Además, la ropa de educación física no tiene que ser comprada en la escuela, nuestro departamento de educación física sugiere que los estudiantes traigan “shorts” rojos y camiseta gris. Sin embargo, la ropa deportiva está disponible para su compra en nuestro ASB y se puede usar para educación física.

June 6 – 7th Grade Awards Ceremony

Students receiving awards were given a letter. The 8th Grade Award Ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 6th at 5:30pm in our Multi-purpose Building. Seating is first-come, first-serve. Congratulations.

Su hijo debería haber recibido hoy una carta que indique que su estudiante ha recibido un premio por el Semestre 2. La ceremonia de entrega de premios del 8º grado se llevará a cabo el jueves 6 de junio a las 5:30 pm en nuestro edificio de usos múltiples. Felicidades. Nos vemos el 6 de junio.
